Everyone loves to cheer for the Underdog.

Scott Kujak is the host of Underdog and first received the idea to create a podcast as he witnessed his friend's battle with cancer for more than a year. His friend, Phil Taylor (featured in Episode 1), continually chose to have hope and optimism in his battle with cancer. Phil's faith continued to grow stronger every day even though Scott witnessed first-hand the numerous hardships Phil had to endure. Scott was amazed by Phil's response to his health condition and started exploring ways to broadcast Phil's story so that other people could hear it as well. And so, the podcast was born!

However, this is a different type of interviewing than what you may hear or see on television. Scott really strives to ask our guests the tough questions in life that pertain to physical pain, emotions, and faith so that it is clear for the audience to understand just how difficult it is/was for the guest to overcome their situation. Then, Scott invites the guest to share with others how they chose to persevere through their situation. We all wrestle with the experience of pain that keep us hoping for a better tomorrow. The mission of Underdog is to provide the audience with that hope and encouragement to move forward in life step-by-step.

We all have an Underdog mentality in us. Unleash it and find the will to never give up.
